AUSTIN HEALEY BIG TACKLE RUGBY COMPETITION
 
Competition opening/closing date & time:
Competition opens as stated in the “The Big Tackle with Austin Healey” programme (the “programme”) and closes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday 8 May 2009.
 
Entrants’ eligibility:
To be eligible to enter the competition, the entrant must meet the following criteria:
 
(a)                 The entrant must be a member of a rugby club in the UK mainland which has at least 20 members and which is registered with the relevant UK Rugby Football Union;
(b)                 The entrant and each participating member of their rugby club must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over;
(c)                 The entrant must not be employed and have not been previously employed or engaged by ITV Consumer Limited, Telefonica O2 UK Limited, companies within their group of companies, any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, members of their immediate families, or other persons professionally connected with this competition, including the provider of the prize.
 
Proof of age and eligibility may be required.
 
Method & cost of entry:
Entrants may enter the competition on behalf of their rugby club by web only by going to the website at www.itv.com/bigtackle (the “website”) and following the instructions on screen and providing the required details to enter the competition. Only one entry per rugby club.There is no charge for online entries, except where internet access fee apply.
 
Entry is not available via any other method not specified here. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries over the maximum number of entries, or entries which are incomplete, incomprehensible, entries made or received by the Promoter after the closing date and time, or not received by the Promoter will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged if relevant.
 
Judging date: within less than one week of the closing date and time.
 
Competition entry task:
Eligible entrants are required to follow the instructions as stated on the website to provide the required information, including but not limited to the entrant’s name, the name of the rugby club, email address, postcode and a daytime contact number. Entrants are required to state in 50 words or less why their rugby club deserves the prize.
 
Entries will only be accepted if the entry does not infringe any third party rights, and does not contain any material which is in any way defamatory, obscene, unlawful, harmful, offensive or inappropriate or may have the effect of being harassing, threatening, abusive or hateful or that otherwise degrades or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability and does not advertise or promote third parties' or the entrant’s own goods or services. Any such entries will be deemed inappropriate and will not be accepted. Entries are subject to the terms of use at www.itv.com/terms. Entries may be featured on the website in the sole discretion of the Promoter. By entering this competition, the entrant agrees to have their entries featured on the website.
 
Entries will be judged by a judging panel to determine the winning entry. The entry which is deemed to be the best in the sole discretion of the judges from all eligible entries based on which entrant would benefit the most from the prize will be the winner of the prize. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
Prize:
The prize includes a coaching session, for the winner and up to 20 members from their rugby club, with Austin Healey on a date in May or June 2009 and at a venue to be determined by the prize provider, subject to availability. The prize also includes signed merchandise. The winner acknowledges that in the event Austin Healey is not available due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and/or prize provider, or any element of the prize as specified is not fulfilled for reasons beyond their reasonable control, the Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and no alternative prize will be provided, except in the Promoter’s sole discretion.
 
The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider and/or organizer. The prize provider will liaise with the winner to confirm arrangements to take up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and the members of their club are available to take up the prize on the relevant date and time, as agreed between the winner and the prize provider and/or organizer and to follow instructions, regulations, rules, health and safety guidelines (the “instructions”) given to take up the prize. Failure to follow such instructions given will result in disqualification from the competition and forfeiture of any rights arising from entry to the competition. The winner and each participating member of their club must be aged 18 years or over. Other restrictions may apply. The winner and each member of their club will be required to provide their signature as proof of age and eligibility, and as proof of their agreement to any relevant waivers, releases and/or consent prior to taking up the prize. Failure to provide such signature as indicated will result in disqualification from the competition as well as forfeiture of any rights arising from entry to the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or vary any element of the prize due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable. No cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages or losses, or for any medical conditions aggravated or incurred as a result of taking up the prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes all additional associated costs and expenses which are not included in the prize which may be incurred in taking up the prize.The winner may be required to participate in publicity in the discretion of the Promoter and/or prize provider. The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties.
 
The Promoter will use all reasonable endeavours to contact the winner by phone on the date the judging panel have selected a winner on the phone number provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once competition entry has been made. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or are otherwise unable to comply with these terms this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the entry the judging panel has deemed the next best entry. Prize delivery takes place within one week of winner confirmation, i.e., the date that the Promoter has managed to contact the winner and received confirmation of eligibility.
 
The name of the winning entry will be published on the website following confirmation of eligibility.
