Paul's top tips

Wildlife photographer Paul Goldstein gives a few handy hints to remember when snapping the seasons.

  • Get up early: It will not always be sunny, but one photograph within half an hour of dawn is worth a hundred at midday.

  • Originality: Make the photos your own, don't just borrow ideas from others.
  • Shadow boxing: Use shadows, they introduce both depth and mystery.

  • Get low: Almost any subject is improved by taken from a low angle, so get your knees dirty.

  • Originality: Make the photos your own, don't just borrow ideas from others.

Don't forget to send us your pictures over the next few weeks. Find out how to submit your pictures to The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
