Healthy rations?

This week is the 70th anniversary of the introduction of rationing in 1940. Since then our diet's changed beyond all recognition with obesity at record levels and now a survey, carried out in Cambridge, suggests we're still not eating as healthily as we should. Would we be healthier if we returned to the rationing of the Second World War?
