- Becky Jago
Becky has been presenting Anglia Tonight since 2005. Before that she was heard teaming up with Johnny Vaughan on Capital FM as Showbiz Correspondent. Becky has also presented BBC1’s Newsround programme, GMTV's Entertainment Today, Channel 5's The Wright Stuff and been Anglia's weather presenter. Most of her time is taken up looking after her twin boys, but when she has a spare moment she enjoys playing the violin to grade 8 standard, singing also to grade 8 standard, playing the piano, drama, dancing, football and keep fit videos.
- Jonathan Wills
Jonathan has been a journalist for over 20 years. After completing a Sports Studies degree it soon dawned on him that he was never going to play cricket for England, so instead decided to see if he could talk about it and joined BBC Southern Counties radio where he was a sports presenter before moving into television in the same role for BBC in London. At ITV London he was awarded the Regional Sports Presenter of the Year by the Royal Television Society before moving into mainstream news. His toughest assignment was as one of the first reporters on the scene at Kings Cross following the terrorist bombing. Jonathan is proud to be part of the fantastic Anglia Tonight team and says he feels privileged to present the flagship programme.
- Alpa Patel
Alpa grew up in the small Welsh town of Pontypridd and moved to Norwich to study at the University of East Anglia. Her Literature degree involved a year at Texas University and she was there when 9/11 happened. She was fascinated by the way the world changed and why. Her passion for journalism was born there and then. After training as a broadcast journalist at Cardiff University, she started work as a reporter for ITV Wales. Alpa moved to ITV Anglia in 2006 and has since regularly appeared as a reporter and presenter. When she’s not working, Alpa likes to travel as much as possible and has visited parts of South America, Africa, India and the United States.
- Amanda Houston
Amanda was born in rural Cumbria, but wanted the bright lights of the big city so moved to Newcastle when she was just 18. She managed to land a job as an Editorial Assistant at the Evening Chronicle before moving on to ITV Tyne Tees. She was bitten by the media bug early in her career and did some radio presenting at Sun FM in Sunderland. Amanda has always taken a keen interest in the weather and took a Met Office course in Broadcast Meteorology. ITV Anglia only just got her in time... she was about to embark on a new life and career in Australia when offered her current role.
- Rachel Mackley
Rachel grew up in North Yorkshire in the market town of Skipton. She studied Fine Art at Newcastle University before moving to Edinburgh where she worked in public relations for a year. Rachel realised she wanted to work as a journalist and started an MA in Broadcast Journalism. She was selected for the ITV bursary scheme and worked briefly at ITV Yorkshire before moving to ITV Anglia. When she’s not working Rachel likes to paint and spend time with her six year old son, Theo.
- Donovan Blake
Donovan Blake has been ITV Anglia’s sport correspondent since 2000, but has been working the East Anglia patch for more than 20 years. Originally from Manchester, his journalism career started with Jarrold’s Press Agency in Ipswich in 1988, and progressed through SGR FM Radio in Ipswich (now Heart FM) where he spent four years as Sports Producer and later News Editor. Sport also plays a big part in his life outside work. He still plays club cricket in Ipswich, and has a keen interest in the history of television sports broadcasting. Other hobbies include comedy, music, reading and socialising.
