Watch David tell us how he gave Pudsey a voice

Pudsey the Movie is in cinemas from today (Friday 18th July).

If you didn’t know already, our lovely BGT Judge David Walliams provides the voice for Britain’s favourite dancing dog - and we’ve got the lowdown on how he did it.

The exciting plot involves Pudsey leaving behind a career as an actor to venture out into the world. Stowing away inside a removal van, he ends up living with the quirkiest of families on a farm, where the dog-hating landlord is bent on getting rid of him.

Saying any more than that will spoil the fun – so before you get to the cinema take a peek at how David Walliams approached giving a voice to our shaggy friend.

Pudsey The Movie premieres in the West End

Pudsey The Movie, starring Britain’s Got Talent’s winning dancing dog, hit the big screen on Sunday. As well as superstar Pudsey and his glamorous owner Ashleigh, some well-known faces graced the red carpet in Leicester Square for the premiere.

Our very lovely Judge, David Walliams voices Pudsey’s lines in the movie. He made it along to escort Pudsey and Ashleigh into the cinema, and they were joined by a host of stars including Michelle Collins, Sinitta, Claire Sweeney and Harry Derbidge.
