BGT National TV Award Winners

Ant and Dec Entertainment Presenter Winners

David Walliams - TV Judge Winner

BGT's Ant and Dec won the award for Entertainment Presenters at the National TV Awards on Wednesday. It's the 14th consecutive year the public have voted for the pair to win.

And David Walliams fought off tough competition from Great British Bake Off's Mary Berry, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and boss Simon Cowell to take home the TV Judge Award.

Stephen Mulhern

Presenter and magician Stephen Mulhern has hosted every series of BGMT since the show launched eight years ago.

This year he has had unprecedented access to the Judges so expect more high jinks a plenty. He has even claimed to have convinced Simon to like magic acts.

And he’s got David on the ropes – pitching him head to head with Doris, a formidable 90-year-old opponent.

Of course he's been putting Ant and Dec through their paces too!

Ant and Dec

The award-winning duo have come along way since their child acting days to become the hottest presenting pair in the country.

The boys keep the UK’s talented entrants calm while they are waiting in the wings and have been known to join the acts on stage themselves.

This year they even have the opportunity to take a seat on the panel and put some of this year’s top talent through.

Will they be putting one of the Judges out of a job? Let’s hope not – we need them backstage.

Here come the Judges!

They're back! The BGT Judges are looking awesome

BGT's awesome foursome return to your screens on Saturday and if you thought they were looking glam last year, then you should check 'em out now.

Take a look at the latest pictures of Alesha, Amanda, David and Simon as they prepare to return to the judging panel.

Simon Cowell

He’s earned himself a reputation as the toughest Judge and with good reason. Music industry mogul Simon Cowell doesn’t pull any punches – if he thinks an act doesn’t have what it takes he will not budge.

And with good reason – artists he’s uncovered have sold millions of records and notched up countless number ones across the globe.

He’s got a soft spot for animal acts but he’s not going to put any old dancing dog through.

A YES from Simon is what all the acts want and this year he’ll have his Golden Buzzer to give that special performance and added boost.

David Walliams

Funny man, author and Simon fanatic David Walliams prides himself on being the BGT champion of the underdog.

As well as having a great eye for comic talent, David has been known to put through some of the most outrageous acts – much to Simon’s disgust and the girls’ amusement.

David can always be relied on the lift the panel with a quick quip or comic antics.

Which of his favourite acts will be laughing all the way to the final this year?

Alesha Dixon

Alesha Dixon topped the charts as one third of ‘90s girl group Mis-teeq and enjoyed a successful solo career.

Having also shown herself to be a first class dancer she has a keen eye for a great mover.

She’s said she was too easily swayed on occasion last year and is determined to be a tougher Judge in 2014 – maybe she’ll be giving Simon a run for his money.

Can any of this year’s acts wow Alesha with their fancy footwork?
