Alfa Romeo name back in BTCC in 2018

Excitement in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is at fever-pitch today, Sunday, 27th August, with the official confirmation Handy Motorsport is bringing the legendary Alfa Romeo brand back to the UK’s biggest and best motor racing series.

Making huge waves in the BTCC paddock, today’s announcement during the eighth race meeting of the current season at Rockingham in Northamptonshire marks a major development for top team Handy as it joins forces with the Alfa Romeo Dealer Council to reunite the championship with one of the globe’s most popular automotive marques.

Austin remembers Superprix as he's sent to Coventry

Dunlop British Touring Car Championship driver Rob Austin will be among the star attractions at this weekend’s Coventry MotoFest when he performs spectacular demonstration runs in his Audi ‘Sherman’ on the city’s streets.

The event’s course runs along Coventry’s Ring Road. Last year’s inaugural event attracted 70,000 people – many of them new to motor sport with cars from a variety of categories performing demonstration runs.

RAR Audis make track debut in Brands Hatch BTCC test

Rob Austin Racing drivers Rob Austin and Hunter Abbott are keeping quiet about their chances in this year’s Dunlop British Touring Car Championship after completing their first two days of testing of 2015.

Rob’s and Hunter’s Audi A4s – both in plain black livery – collectively racked up more than 300 laps of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in Kent which will host the BTCC’s opening three races of the new season on the weekend of Sat 4/Sun 5 April.
