It's often said that we are losing our engineering skills, and that we are not doing enough to encourage young people to take on apprenticeships. Well, here is an example of a course that's helping to reverse that trend.

School leavers are being recruited by the railway industry - and given practical skills.

And they are being helped out - by using a railway from the good old days.
