We sent Arielle from Scrambled! to Snowdonia in Wales to check out what was going on behind the scenes at Bear Grylls Survival School.

Meet Abigail and John

Abi moved from Chicago to the UK three years ago and now lives in a small village in Scotland.
Abi admits to having a mischievous side. " I used to get into a lot of trouble when I was younger. I love adventures!"

John loves spending time in the great outdoors as he used to venture into the countryside with his late father.
He thinks Survival School would change him as "I'd probably be a bit skinnier"

Meet Lauren and Ash

A natural peacekeeper, Lauren is enthusiastic about making new friends and is keen to keep the team together. " I just hate when people get bullied, that's just really horrible.
Spending half her life doing sports she's always up for a challenge!

Ashley describes himself as a real chatterbox " but I know when to shut up"
He insists he doesn't get into trouble at school because "no one catches me"

Ashley loves kickboxing and attends a weekly class. He's been going since he was five years old!

Meet Eugenie and Josh

Eugenie knows her own mind and has been taught to speak up when she's not happy about a situation. "If someone is being extremely rude, then I am going to speak up."
She admits she is not as active as she'd like to be and will find Survival School a challenge., however she has the mental strength to see it through and is "determined and willing to give it a go!"

Inspirational Joshua helped design the new Alder Hey Children's Hospital. After spending significant time within the hospital growing up, he devised clever ways to help children and families feel more comfortable during their stay.
He is extremely sporty and physically fit. He believes the enjoyment of taking part in sport is worth all the aches and pains after.

Meet Jasmine and Callum

Jasmine is confident she has the inner strength and will power to knuckle down and see it through. She describes herself as a leader type and is a member of the sea cadets.
Twice a week she attends her local club, where she learns skills such as knot work and wild foraging.

Callum believes Survival School will make him more adventurous. He confesses "I'm glued to technology. I use it more than I should"
In the future, he'd like to be a singer, so we may see him leading a sing-song around the camp fire.
