Our multiplatform commissioning ambitions are to create interactive experiences that enhance and extend the broadcast moment.
The vast majority of our shows are available via ITV Player. For most shows, the ability to watch again is more than enough for our audiences.
We aim to focus our multiplatform spend on a small number of projects across web and mobile each year where we can make a meaningful impact on the broadcast. We do not encourage submissions for disconnected sites offering 'further information' readily available elsewhere on the web, or thin vanity sites offering no real user value.
We are keen for submissions that seamlessly extend the storytelling experience, encourage meaningful participation on a mass scale, or that unite passionate, vocal fans of our flagship brands, both on ITV.com and third party platforms.
Submissions should ideally be made at the same time as the linear programme. However we welcome advance conversations in order to help shape your ideas, to ensure they are both practical and desirable.
