  • 14 November 2008: Anna and Eddie Windass were first seen refusing to pay for a kitchen installed by Joe McIntyre, claiming to be unhappy with his work.

  Street History

  • 2008: Moves into number 6 with her family and tries to befriend her neighbour Gail Platt
  • 2009: Upset when her son Gary fights with David Platt and narrowly avoids a prison sentence. Starts work at Roy's Rolls but is furious to discover Eddie's attempt to con her employer Roy Cropper. Is devastated when her son Gary is sent to prison.
  • 2010: Is proud but scared when Gary enrols in the army and is sent to Afghanistan. Devastated when Gary is injured.
  • 2011: Delighted when approved as adopted parent for Faye.
  • Has ups and downs with Faye - disappointed when she steals to give gifts to Anna
  • Decides to turn Eddie's marriage proposal down and watches him leave
  • Supports Katy when she discovers she is pregnant
  • Owen buys the Windass home, when the owner sells and he becomes her landlord
