  • 2001: Takes Tyrone Dobbs from Maria Sutherland
  • 2002: Begins dating Kirk Sutherland
  • 2003: Horrified when her mother Cilla turns up and starts a relationship with Les Battersby
  • 2004: Is torn when Kirk and Tyrone vie for her affections
  • 2005: Confronted by Molly Compton, a girl she used to bully at school
  • 2007: Reunites with her former boyfriend, John Stape, who cheats on her with Rosie Webster
  • 2008: Forgives John but is heartbroken when he admits to kidnapping Rosie
  • 2009: Begins visiting John in prison and admits she still loves him
  • Gets engaged to John Stape and they plan to marry in prison

  • Unbeknownst to Fiz, John and Charlotte cover up the subsequent death of Colin Fishwick
  • Meets Colin's mother Joy Fishwick, who comes looking for her son
  • John murders Charlotte and covers up her death during the fateful night of the Weatherfield tram crash. Unfortunately, Fiz goes into labour and gives birth to baby Hope prematurely
  • 2011: Worries for baby Hope, who has a hole in her heart, but it can be treated. Joy Fishwick dies after John confesses all to her and he then suffers a breakdown
  • Fiz is visited by a solicitor looking for Colin, and pretends to be his 'wife' to inherit Joy's estate
  • John confesses to less than all when Fiz discovers him digging up Colin body. Panic stricken when John then flees with baby Hope; Fiz is run over in pursuit
  • Confronts John on a hospital roof and is reunited with Hope seconds before John jumps and disappears into the night
  • Is arrested for fraudulently claiming Joy's inheritance and is suspected of being involved in Charlotte Hoyle's and Colin and Joy Fishwick's murders
  • Finds prison life tough and clashes with inmate Ruth. After being called to trial Fiz is found guilty of Colin's murder, but not Charlotte and Joy's. On the same day of the verdict John is rushed to hospital after a car accident. Fiz visits him on his death bed and John confesses all to the police. Fiz is released on bail and finally returns home
