  • 2011: Arrives looking to make a deal with Underworld
  • Makes Carla a tempting business offer she can't refuse
  • Accused of attempted rape by Maria but a lack of evidence stops further action being taken against him
  • Dates Tracy Barlow briefly but thinks she is still in love with Steve
  • Goes into partnership with Carla Connor to try and save Underworld's dwindling figures
  • Encounters occasional conflict with Maria and her then boyfriend Chris Gray
  • Starts a romantic relationship with Carla and eventually proposes to her
  • Tries to heal the rift between Carla and Leanne, and to understand Carla's complicated friendship with Peter
  • At their engagement party Carla drinks too much and when she and Frank drive off they accidentally run Stella over. Frank drags Carla into the passenger seat and claims he was driving. Later Frank gets points on his driver's license and a fine

  • Frank is arrested but released on bail and asks his mother Anne Foster to cover for him at Underworld. He decides to set up a rival business and steals Carla's factory staff, including Sally Webster to work for him.
  • 2012: Grows suspicious of Carla and Peter and has them followed by a private detective, who photographs them kissing. Begins a relationship with Sally Webster. When Frank goes on trial he plays the victim and uses the photographs to provoke a reaction from Leanne in the public gallery. Frank is acquitted and shocks Carla by turning up to work again at Underworld. He tries to bully and buy her out, but she stands firm. Continues to make enemies throughout the Street, although Sally stands by him.
  • Karma eventually catches up with Frank when Carla confronts him alone in the factory, after he tries to cheat her out of the business, and he finally admits that he did rape her. However, his mother Anne overhears his confession. Later, mother and son argue over the revelation and Anne hits Frank over the head with a bottle of whisky, accidentally killing her own son. After his death is discovered a murder investigation follows before Frank is cremated, and then Anne's part in her son's death is uncovered by Sally and Carla, who calls the police.

  • Although gone, Frank has left his mark on many of the residents of Weatherfield.
