  • 1997: Moves into number 5 with father Les, stepmother Janice and stepsister Toyah
  • 1998: Runs away to Scotland with lover Nick Tilsley and gets married
  • Scared when Nick uses her to trap his dad’s killer
  • 1999: Forced by Nick to have an abortion and ends their marriage
  • Starts taking drugs and gets into debt to dealer Jez Quigley
  • 2000: Foils Jez’s plan to rob the Rovers and ends up in hospital
  • Moves to Amsterdam
  • 2004: Discovered by Les working in a lap-dancing bar
  • Starts a relationship with Jamie Baldwin
  • 2005: Breaks Jamie’s heart by having an affair with his father Danny
  • 2006: Moves away after revealing Danny’s attempt to swindle his dying father Mike

  • As Leanne and Peter celebrate their Hen and Stag dos, a tram crashes into Coronation Street. The pair get married as Peter lies critically injured in hospital
  • Continues to find her relationship with Nick difficult but tries to focus on her marriage
  • 2011: Finds living with Peter difficult as he struggles to deal with his injuries, but continues to reject Nick's advances
  • Discovers that Peter had started to drink again, with Nick's help and attacks her ex

  • Decides to leave Weatherfield but whilst waiting on the train platform, Peter declares his undying love and she stays

  • At her 30th birthday party in the Rovers, learns that Stella is actually her birth mother, who left her as a baby. Leanne is shocked and angry at the news
  • Stella continues to try to build a relationship with Leanne and some progess is made, but Eva tries to undermine this
  • On the night of Frank and Carla's engagement party, Leanne argues with Stella and when Stella later goes to the bookies to try to clear the air, she is run over by a drink-driving Carla
