  First Appearance

  • 6 July 2003: Peter Barlow turned up at the hospital where his estranged wife Lucy was in labour. She reluctantly allowed him to be present during the birth of their son Simon.

  Street History

  • 2003: Moves to Australia with his mother Lucy after her discovery that his father Peter was a bigamist
  • 2008: Taken into Peter’s care when Lucy dies of cancer
    Moves into the flat above the betting shop with Peter
    Unhappy when Peter disrupts his school nativity play by turning up drunk
  • 2009: Grows fond of Peter’s girlfriend Leanne Battersby and is upset when she moves away
    Names his new male rabbit ‘Leanne’
    Raises the alarm when drunken Peter sets fire to the flat
  • Gets another grandfather when his mum's dad George turns up
  • Almost dies in a fire caused by his drunk dad falling asleep with a lit cigarette
  • Granddad George decides he wants to pay for him to go to a posh prep school
  • 2010: Goes missing in Blackpool whilst on a day trip with George, after overhearing his granddad's plans to move him away to Berkshire

  • 2011: Disappointed in Peter when he starts to drink again, but helps protect Leanne from the situation, until Leanne uncovers the truth. 
  • Delighted when Peter and Leanne reconcile after Leanne's affair with Nick is exposed.
