  • 1998: Squats at number 7 with his mother Jackie while Curly Watts is away
  • 1999: Moves into the Duckworths' bed and breakfast. Taken on as an apprentice mechanic by Kevin Webster
  • 2000: Proposes to kennel maid Maria Sutherland at the top of Blackpool Tower
  • 2001: Starts going out with Fiz Brown
  • 2004: Challenges Kirk Sutherland for Fiz's hand in marriage and is upset when she chooses Kirk. Reunites with Maria
  • 2005: Maria accepts his second proposal
  • 2006: Finishes with Maria and starts dating Molly Compton after their burger van catches fire
