Actor and comedian Les Dennis is to join the cast of Coronation Street as petty criminal Michael Rodwell.
Exact storyline details are being kept under wraps, but Michael will find himself caught up in the lives of a family on the street after breaking into their house.
Les, currently touring in the Peter James play, A Perfect Murder, will start filming on Monday (Jan 27th) and will appear on screen in late March.
I am so thrilled to be joining the cast of Coronation Street. It has always been my favourite Television programme. Mixing high drama with some of the best comedy on screen.
