Coronation Street The Tour is welcoming back some familiar faces to the cobbles as Richard Hillman, Maureen Naylor and Reg Holdsworth return for special evening tours.
Throughout selected dates in September and October the former Coronation Street favourites will make a special appearance on the Street and visitors who book onto tours between 4pm and 6pm will be able to meet and have a picture taken with them.
Brian Capron - Thursday 18th September, 4pm to 6pm
Ken Morley - Thursday 25th September, 4pm to 6pm
Sherrie Hewson - Thursday 2nd October, 4pm to 6pm
Coronation Street’s most notorious serial killer, Richard 'Tricky Dicky' Hillman played by Brian Capron, will be returning to the scene of his many crimes on Thursday 18th September. Brian will be enthralling visitors with tales of his time on the Street and will be providing fantastic photo opportunities.
Loose Woman, Sherrie Hewson, who played Maureen Naylor on the show will be rounding off the series of special tours on Thursday 2nd October. She said:
"I can't wait to meet everyone, swap stories and gossip, maybe even tell a few forbidden secrets! I have such great memories and am so thrilled and proud to have worked on the most iconic show on Television.”
Sherrie’s on-screen husband Ken Morely will be visiting the cobbles on Thursday 25th September. Ken played the eccentric manager of Bettabuys, Reg Holdsworth. He said:
"I can’t wait to be back on the Street. So many great memories and some terrible ones! I’ll tell you all when I see you."
There are limited tickets available for the appearances and so those who would like to visit will have to be quick.
