Carla is devastated when Frank is found innocent at the trial but draws strength from having lover Peter by her side to lean on, and with his help she tries to pull her life back together.
Afterwards, a victorious Frank moves straight back into the factory and immediately starts to bully her into leaving and selling Underworld to him.
Her blossoming relationship with Peter also comes under strain, as an angry Simon tells Carla he hates her, causing more problems for the couple.
Alison King, who plays Carla, said: “As long as Frank is around, things are going to be pretty tough for Carla and Peter.”
