The emotional stress of caring for Lesley is finally starting to get to Eileen. While everybody commends her for what she is doing, Eileen begins to question if it's all worth it and her relationship with Paul comes under pressure as Lesley's mental state worsens.
Paul starts to leave Lesley in Eileen's care more and more and everything suddenly spirals out of control when Lesley disappears with Amy. A worried Tracy blames the whole mess on Eileen who is left wondering if she is actually getting anything out of all the effort she is putting in.
Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen, said: "I think things are going to get a lot worse for Eileen before they get better."
