Leanne was left crushed and heartbroken when the full extent of Peter’s affair with Carla was finally exposed.
She went to Stella to pour her heart out and even revealed that is was a drunk-driving Carla who ran Stella over and not Frank.
Later, Peter finally managed to track Leanne down and beg her forgiveness but Leanne was left too devastated by the whole thing and decided to leave the Street.
As the cab rolled away, Peter was left with nothing but regret and a tearful Simon.
