Peter James is the author of the hugely successful Brighton-based detective series starring Detective Superintendent Roy Grace. Long before e-readers became the norm, Peter James caused huge controversy in 1994 when he became the first author of an ‘electronic novel’ when his book Host was published on two floppy disks.

But unlike the floppy disk which has since bitten the technological dust, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace is still going strong solving crimes in Brighton’s seedy underworld. The only case he can’t seem to crack is that of the mysterious disappearance of his beloved wife. Will James’ latest work Dead Man’s Grip hold any clues?
