New mum Jennifer is finding the gruelling Dancing On Ice routine tough – but is happy to be back at work and getting in shape. "It's a huge personal challenge because I seem to have just become a mum and I've loved every minute of it,” she says.

But Jennifer’s mainly looking forward to the sequins and Lycra outfits she’ll get to wear each week.

"I’m really looking forward to the costumes,” she beams. “I think they are one of the best parts about the show. When you watch each week, you see the skaters come out and you can see what they’re wearing. I'm going to look like a Barbie doll."

And we’re sure her skating partner and show veteran Dan will be more than happy to adopt the role of Barbie’s other half, Ken!

As an amateur, Daniel competed nationally and internationally and was a UK Gold Medallist and Welsh Champion by the time he turned professional at 19 years old.

As well as teaching in his home town Blackpool, Dan has wowed audiences in shows such as Hot Ice, Grease on Ice, Holiday on Ice and the stunning Jayne Torvill Ice Spectacular at Somerset House, London.

Dan won the first series of Dancing on Ice with actress Gaynor Faye, and partnered actress Emily Symons, Linda Lusardi and Roxanne Pallett before he went on to become ice Champion again alongside actress Hayley Tamaddon in 2010.

In 2011 Dan danced his way to eighth place with Kerry Katona, before hitting the road with Torvill & Dean for another sensational Dancing On Ice Tour.
