Oona King and Mark Hanretty

Oona King
A member of the House of Lords, Baroness King of Bow is ready for her critics. The House of Lords member loves politics… and dancing! Oona is keen to show the audience that politicians can in fact be quite fun!
She's expecting to surprise viewers and claims, "The media portrays us politicians as evil devils, but in actual fact a lot of us are very down to earth."
Oona is a daredevil and likes to go fast on the ice: "I’m resilient; you could knock me down a zillion times and I’ll get back up again. I’m fairly fearless and I’m not scared of things so I think that might help me."
Surprisingly for someone whose professional life revolves around strict planning, Oona says, "I have no strategy! I just want to try and stay upright, I plan to learn as much as I can. As a politician we have plans and strategies, but I can’t plan for this."
