"I did the performance of my life. This week there's going to be a lot of pressure, there's going to be expectations from people," Beth Tweddle contemplated in training, after a storming performance in The Leveller which saw her shoot straight to the top of the leaderboard.
But that doesn't mean she and partner Dan Whiston will be taking things easy this week - they've got a routine full of tricks and skating treats lined up. "She's raised the bar for herself, so she wants to stay above that now," mentor Christopher Dean told us in training.
Dan said, "This week the routine has got quite a lot of scary things in it," with Beth adding, "We've got one big trick called the Whirly Bird."
"It is a difficult move," Jayne Torvill explained, "And it's [about] finding that balance and timing with each other. On top of that we're hoping to do the Headbanger with Beth. We've seen one already in this series from Samia where she takes off from the floor but Beth is hoping to go in on a running edge which is a lot more difficult."
And the last word from the lady herself? "Last week we were top of the leaderboard, but we can't rest on our laurels!"
