Props Week will see every one of the five remaining contestants work a prop into their routine - except Matt Lapinskas, who's using three! But is last week's scoreboard leader feeling the pressure from his tricky new 3-part routine?
"If you drop your prop, that’s it, you’re in the skate-off," he mused, "Chris [Dean] really isn't mucking around with the choreography: he wants me to flick [the hat], chuck it, and throw it around behind my back! There are thousands of places [in the routine] where I could drop it!"
And professional skating partner Brianne was feeling the nerves, too: "To be honest, I'm absolutely terrified about this week!," she said, thinking back to her fatefulProps Week performance two years where Sam Attwater dropped his hat during their routine.
But despite a couple of mistakes in training, Matt, whose musical medley sees him donning a baseball cap, a sparkly bowler and a sailor's cap, has a strategy. "It is tough knowing that there’s only five of us left and only four can go through," he said, "But when it gets tougher and tougher, you’ve got to work harder and harder."
