"We're going to give him some big moves that he hasn't done before," Christopher Dean promised as he watched Matt Lapinskas prepare for School Disco Week. But were the DOI team pushing him too far?

"I'm having trouble with the lift at the end," a worried looking Matt confessed, "At the moment I can't seem to get my hands right. It's quite dangerous." And the former Eastenders actor was finding the difficult move frustrating: "Because he's such a perfectionist, and he's not getting it, he's stressing out," said Matt's partner Brianne Delcourt.

But despite Matt putting in all his concentration into mastering the move, at dress rehearsals things went from bad to worse as Brianne fractured the top of her coccix after a big fall. But amid fears they might have to change their choreography, Matt remained hopeful on the day of the show: "We've only got a few hours left until we go on the ice, so fingers crossed we get it right."
