Summer didn’t seem to happen and already Autumn is here. Was there really time for any true summer loving? Well, have no fear because there’s still plenty of time to get all romantic!
So, here are our top five super duper Autumn date suggestions to get you feeling all lovey dovey!
Who says a beach is only for when the sun shines?
Don’t shiver and shrug off the idea – Autumn evenings on a deserted beach can actually be incredibly romantic. Snuggle up under a blanket, sneak a bottle of champers and some glasses in a bag and enjoy some piping hot fish and chips! One more little suggestion, why not coincide with Fireworks Night – how romantic can you get!? Finish of the evening with a few more cheeky beverages in a beachfront pub.
Everybody’s going surfing!
If you’re somewhat of the adventurous type and are ultra brave then a surf lesson is brilliantly fun idea. The waves are never more reliable than when winter is on its way, and you’ll get given a wet suit anyway!
Splashing about in the water with your date will be great fun and you can guarantee plenty of laughs! Afterwards you can warm up each other up with a kiss and a cuddle and enjoy a well-deserved hot beverage!
A drive in the country
Embracing the splendour of the gorgeous red and gold colours of nature whilst taking a lovely drive through the countryside is a perfect way to spend an afternoon with your date. You can drive out into the unknown before discovering a cute little pub in the middle of nowhere for a quick drink and then set out again to find another little gem of a hangout to get some grub!
The beauty of nature will inspire you to get all cozy and romantic. You could even stop off, venture out on a long ramble through the fields, and if you’re not feeling a pub lunch, crack out that cosy fleece blanket and enjoy a warm winter picnic!
A road (ferry) trip to remember
The Orient Express or a five star river cruise are both truly romantic trips, but if they are a little above your dating budget then there’s still nothing stopping you embarking on a traveling date adventure – it is guaranteed to be exciting!
So, we suggest you hop on board a ferry to France, this will give you just enough time to have a nice sit down lunch and a cheeky glass of vino and then re-enact the scene from Titanic! Book a return ticket for that day and you’ll have quite the ultimate adventure across the seven seas!
Believe it or not, a fright night can actually be a fabulous date night – research has shown that fear is actually a wonderful aphrodisiac! So, take your date along to a special theme park fright evening or find a ghost hunt in or around your local area and get prepared to have one of the most romantic evenings of your life?
If you really aren’t feeling a trek around a haunted house then a night in with a really scary movie could be just as fun…
