Diane Gibson 72 was dubbed Britain's most wanted grandmother when she fled in 2000 after being convicted.
She was jailed for 4 years and 3 months imprisonment. The grandmother had been on the run for over 12 years after being convicted in 2000 at Bristol Crown Court of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
2.9kg of cocaine was found in her boot in 1998. Her defence barrister said the former nurse has been living as an outlaw but came to light after a great grandson was born. He said she's been living in caravans in the north of england and always thought she was innocent. He also said she is in ill health.
