The town of Doncaster has won the right to impose a by-law that will see spitting and swearing in public outlawed.
People who break the new law can be fined up to £500 and find themselves hauled before the courts. It's the first town in the UK to take the drastic step, but other areas including Enfield are looking at taking the same step now.
