Meet mum-repreneur Cara Sayer

Cara Sayer is a mum of one  from Surrey who has taken her baby sleep product SnoozeShade from prototype to global brand in under 11 months.

Cara, 38, was frustrated by the lack of products specifically designed to help babies sleep in the pram as she wanted to be out and about during her daughters naptime. She whinged so much her friends and family told her to get on with it.

She took an unfinished prototype of her product SnoozeShade to a trade show in October 09 and had orders placed on the spot from JoJo Maman Bebe and launched in February 2010.

SnoozeShade goes on sale in Tesco, Mothercare and Boots in Spring/Summer 2011.

Cara has done all this as well as being a full time mum of 2 year old Holly and had no prior experience in retail or manufacture.

It is now going on sale around the globe following a hugely successful international show - with distributors now signed up in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the Gulf, Benelux, Scandinavia and many more.

TV presenter Denise van Outen has tweeted publicly how amazing the SnoozeShade is and has been raving about it to her mum friends.
