ITV’s bionic babe, Michelle Ryan, is back on British TV in a touching new romantic comedy.

Did you know that the average British woman will marry their 11th sexual partner? But does Mr Eleven always equal Mr Right?

Michelle stars opposite Sean Maguire and Adam Garcia in a love triangle driven by one woman’s obsession with numbers in Mr Eleven.

Teacher Saz Paley’s (Ryan) love life is driven not by her heart, but by an obsession with numbers. On her wedding day Saz couldn’t be more certain that she has found the love of her life. Her husband is heart-throb, Accident and Emergency doctor and all round Mr Perfect, Dan (Maguire). Better than that, he is Mr Statistically Right - Mr Eleven. That is until she finds out that Mr Eleven is actually Mr Ten.

A sexual conquest she had counted in her list of lovers is revealed to be a near miss … and the news breaks on her wedding day. Handsome Aussie Alex (Garcia) turns up unexpectedly as an old friend’s “plus one.”

Alex was Saz’s Mr Nine. Until he confesses that she passed out before the deed was done. He’s Mr Nearly. Dan has just dropped from Mr Eleven to Mr Ten.

As Saz goes into freefall. She reflects on Mr One through to Eight as both Dan and Alex wait to see if the course of true love can outsmart the statistics.

The two-part drama has a strong supporting cast including Lynda Bellingham, Olivia Coleman and Denis Lawson. No broadcast date has yet been set.

Victoria Fea, Commissioning Executive at ITV, said: “Not only is this a colourful, contemporary romantic comedy by the fantastic Amanda Coe but it is also a perfect opportunity to entice two of our most exciting young Hollywood converts to return to our screens in a classically British love story, supported, of course, by a cast of favourite TV faces.”
