In the last episode of the series, Danny and Alice enjoyed spending some time together but agreed to keep their relationship under wraps for a little longer.
However, they were unaware that Georgina had heard their every word. They then discovered there had been less welcome consequences of the storm - fences were down and animals were running loose in the town.
Georgina was preoccupied with the imminent arrival of a very tricky guest, but when she discovered the Family Day Festival was under threat because of storm damage, she realised it was the perfect distraction for the mysterious visitor and immediately took over the responsibility of organising it.
The Animal Hospital lost most of its drugs in the storm and Alice turned to Vanessa for help. However, when she arrived at Mara, Alice was surprised to find her brother Rowan, staying there.
Vanessa gave Alice the antibiotics she needed, but she was clearly upset to have lost out with Danny and shocked Alice by telling her that this was the last help she’d ever give to her former friends at Leopard’s Den.
