Clemency Burton-Hill wears many hats, journalist and TV presenter one moment, actress and musician the next; making her the perfect face to host ITV's On the Yellow Carpet.

She is a presenter on BBC2's The Culture Show, she reviews the papers regularly on Sky News and she presents the weekend breakfast show on BBC Radio 3.

A Cambridge University graduate, Clemency became the UK's youngest broadsheet columnist for the Daily Telegraph, aged 23 and has since contributed to most UK magazines and news papers, including The Guardian, Independent, Economist, Grazia, Elle, New Statesman and Spectator.

Her first novel, The Other Side of the Stars, was published in 2009 and her next, All The Things You Are, will appear in 2012.

Clemency has appeared in numerous popular television dramas including Poirot and Midsomer Murders as well as in films such as The Prince & Me II: The Royal Wedding and the upcoming St George's Day, with Charles Dance and Dexter Fletcher.

A scholar from the Royal College of Music, Clemency's talents as a violinist have taken her all over the world.

About On the Yellow Carpet, she says: "I am thrilled to be presenting this exclusive online arts strand.

"ITV has a world-class offering of drama and I'll be talking to some of the most exciting talents in the business."
