Rhona Goskirk

Rhona is a sharp-witted and fun girl to be around. She makes friends easily but is seen as a threat by some women, who don't appreciate the ease with which she integrates into any social group.

History

2001

• Locum vet Rhona arrives in the village and instantly catches Marlon’s eye
• Marlon takes her to the Dingles' party where she is welcomed as his girlfriend
• Rhona leaves the village and bids Marlon a fond farewell

2002

• After Tricia backs out of her wedding with Marlon, Rhona tells Paddy that Marlon deserves better

2010

• To help cover for Paddy after he is beaten by Aaron, Rhona returns to the village as the new locum vet
• Pleased to have her back in the village Marlon gives her preferential treatment at the Woolpack
• After getting her divorce settlement, Rhona considers buying her own veterinary practice and ends up going into partnership with Paddy
• Rekindles her old flame with Marlon
• Moves in with Marlon, although it's clear she is also very fond of Paddy
• Dumps Marlon after realising she's in love with Paddy
• Discovers she is pregnant with Marlon's child

2011

• Rhona discovers that her baby has Down's Syndrome
• Rhona tells Marlon that he will not have official shared custody of their child
• Gives birth to baby Leo

2012

• Rhona discovers Marlon's affair with Laurel and tries to stop him from racing to the church for her vow renewal with Ashley
• Planned on proposing to Paddy on the leap day but he got drunk and ruined it
• Paddy proposed to Rhona in the ladies toilets of the Woolpack - of course she said yes!
