Samson is a sweet, well-behaved child who loves his dad. Sadly he never got to know his mother Alice, who died of cancer when he was still a tiny baby. He has found school a struggle and the Dingle family found out that he's dyslexic. They are all pulling together to support him.

Samson's name came about by Zak introducing him as "Sam's son" and Belle, thinking he means "Samson", says she likes the name. Zak goes to correct her but Sam agrees, saying Seth used to have a horse named Samson

- Samson is rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis
2008
- Samson is knocked down by Val Lambert in her jeep. He is not seriously injured but is almost taken into care when people doubt Sam's ability to look after his son properly. With his family's help, Sam is allowed to keep Samson
2010
- Samson struggles at school and is eventually diagnosed with dyslexia
2011
- Everyone is really proud when Samson reads his lines at the school play
- Samson doesn't want to go to school because he's being bullied by Amelia
2012
- Samson is scared when he gets lost in the woods with an increasingly confused Zak
