Victoria has always felt left out and as the only remaining true Sugden in Emmerdale she suffers from a deep sense of insecurity. Easily led by her peers, she is often in trouble at school and at home but has enough of a conscience to feel remorse for her actions. Essentially she's not a bad girl, but she tries everything she can to come across with more street-cred than she actually has.

- Sarah Sugden gives birth to Victoria

- Victoria’s arm is broken when a runaway truck crashes into the bus she is on
2004
- Gets a ventriloquist dummy named Alfie to help her talk after she is sworn to secrecy by Robert when she catches him with Katie
2006
- Returns from Spain a vegetarian
2007
- Gets a lift home with Billy after a night out and he crashes into the river after the brakes have been cut
- Threatens to burn down the house if she doesn’t get the truth about her mother’s death
2008
- Victoria makes a grisly discovery when she falls through the ice covering the lake - PC Shane Doyle's body
2009
- After Scarlett hires a car for her birthday, she goes for a drive with Daz. Things get heated and Victoria loses her virginity to him in a barn
- After Jack’s funeral Andy asks Victoria to stay in England and help keep the farm running for Jack’s sake. The extended Sugden family is united in their grief
2010
- After being coerced into bullying Hannah, Victoria gets her comeuppance when Hannah snaps and flushes her head down the Woolpack toilet
2011
- Victoria starts a relationship with ladies man Alex, but is shocked to find out that he'd slept with Hannah just before they got together.
- After Diane refused to let Alex move into the Woolpack with them, Alex came up with the brilliant idea of squatting in one of Declan's empty properties. Victoria jumped at the chance, until it resulted in Andy losing his job.
2012
- Victoria and Alex move in with Andy.
- Victoria and Amy have their work cut out, after Val abandoned Eric, virtually running the B&B until he got his act together.
- Victoria gets a second job, working at the vets.
