Katherine Dow Blyton will be gracing the Dales this November!
Dow Blyton, noted for her roles on The Syndicate, This is England and Hollyoaks, will be entering the Village as Harriet Finch, directly competing with Ashley Thomas for the local vicar's job.
A relative of Edna’s, Harriet arrives during a speed-dating event and immediately irritates Ashley. A go-getter, she's determined to win the upcoming job at St Mary’s church and wants to make her mark in her own unique way. However, with Ashley also vying for the role, both go head-to-head to try and win the job.
Speaking to us ahead of her appearance on screen, Dow Blyton said, “I am delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale.
"Harriet is great fun and I’m looking forward to seeing the character unfold.“
Keep watching from November to see Harriet make her entrance and to find out who will be Emmerdale's next vicar...
