After disappearing to Portugal with the contents of Eric's bank account Val has finally returned home. But there was a shock in store when she discovered that Eric had moved on a little too quickly for her liking. To Eric upon finding Brenda's underwear on Eric's floor: Val - "And this is your revenge is it? Jumping the bones of the local dunderhead?"
Amy - "So it would have been ok if it was Katie Sugden (that Eric had been sleeping with) then?" Val - "If it was Katie Sugden I would have given him a medal and asked if I could join in."
To Brenda as she hands over a bin liner of her clothes in the Woolpack: Val - "If I have to see a chiropractor due to the weight of lugging your underpants down the lane, I'll send you the bill."
