What do you do when you wake up with a bump on the head and can't even remember your own name?
Jimmy King was enjoying life with new wife Nicola and baby Angelica when something happened which caused him to lose his memory - completely.
That something was his ex - Kelly Windsor - who whacked him over the head with a torch during a secret meeting and then ran away.
Jimmy struggled to piece his life back together and rediscover his roles as husband and father. It might not have gone badly if Kelly hadn't have turned up again, this time to take advantage of Jimmy's memory loss and make him believe that he wanted to leave Nicola and reunite with her and a son he didn't know he had.
Kelly almost got her way and Jimmy abandoned Nicola... until his memory started to come back and he finally saw the light.
