If you were down on your luck and short of cash and your son-in-law owned a business with his brother, would you ask him for a job? Of course you would.

But, what if said son-in-law's brother was Carl King? You're not too sure now, are you?

Poor Rodney was struggling, so when Carl offered to take him on he jumped at the chance of some work - although he should have known there would be conditions...

It seems Carl had some impending driving offences and thought Rodney could be his fall guy. With no other option, Rodney agreed to take the points on his licence, but little did he know that Carl had actually run someone over…

As the trial came to court and it looked like Rodney would go down, he bravely took the stand but demanded more money as compensation.

Carl had little choice but to give in to his demands, but by a stroke of luck, Rodney was let off with a few more points and a fine.

So it was win-win for smug Rodney, until Nicola found out...

It turns out Carl had used money from the business to pay Rodney off and without it the business was going under.

Reluctantly, Rodney agreed to pay the money back but he wasn’t just going to forgive and forget.

What else does Rodney have up his sleeve?
