The trouble with Amy is... well... she's always in trouble.
Foster parents Val and Eric have given the teen tearaway chance after chance but she ruins things every time.
But her problems reached a whole new level when she became pregnant - with Cain's child.
Amy hesitated when faced with having an abortion and in doing so left it too late.
So, in secret (with a little help from Belle) she decided to have the baby and get him adopted, before the Pollards, and especially Cain, could find out.
Unfortunately, things didn't go according to plan when Amy went into labour prematurely and she was forced to give birth, scared and alone, in the graveyard...
Believing the baby was stillborn, Amy tenderly hid him away and fled the scene before anyone could see herLuckily, Hazel spotted the baby and saved his little life.
Despite Val's pleas Amy eventually had baby Kyle adopted. Surprisingly, it was Eric who was a source of strength and support for young Amy through that difficult decision.
Unfortunately Val took Eric's support of Amy as a betrayal and left them both for a new life in Portugal.
