Jack Osbourne Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie

Jack's back!

King of Adrenaline Junkies, Jack Osbourne, waxes lyrical about death-defying climbs, shrieking celebrities and his not-so-hardcore mum, dad and sister...

What were you most worried about before you began this fourth Adrenaline Junkie trip?

I was intrigued to meet Craig David, because obviously there’s the bad rap he got from Bo Selecta! I mean Leigh really ran him through the ringer and that’s what he got p***** off about. But Craig’s a funny guy. He’s really sarcastic and witty. He’s incredibly fit, a great guy and a pleasure to be around.

What’s been your most hair-raising experience?
Probably in the first series, when we were doing a practice climb. The team were suffering from dehydration and we couldn’t find a quick way to get down a really big cliff. We had to walk eleven miles and that’s after having climbed for thirteen hours. It was a pretty hairy day, especially having only had a litre-and-a-half of water for a seventeen hour day of full-on exercise. I could feel my kidneys aching.

Which celebrities have had the funniest or most surprising reactions so far?
When we were in Switzerland, Charlie Brookes would get terrified, for herself and other people. We set up a stunt between two cable cars and as I jumped out she screamed at the top of her voice: “Oh my god Jack, no!” All the safety guys in the opposite cable car thought the rope had snapped.

Which star is missing from your Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie line-up?
I would have liked to have Justin Timberlake in my line-up - and we almost had him on. But I’ve been really pleased by the people we’ve had. We’ve had a real range: musicians, actors and models…

Do you still keep in contact with any of the recruits from last series?
A couple of them. I hear from Lisa occasionally and Anthony, plus Becky is dating my best friend, Jamie.

If you could make your mum, dad and sister take part in any Adrenaline Junkie activity, which would you chose and why?
Both of my parents are pretty old, so that goes against them. My dad’s got bolts and stuff in him from the motorbike accident, so I don’t think it would be a good idea. I could see Kelly doing some of this stuff, but I think she’s too stubborn and not daring.

What’s next for Jack Osbourne?
Well, I’m producing two documentaries right now. I’ve also written a TV drama and I’m in the middle of writing a second script. I want to focus a bit more on the production side of things - writing and producing.
