It’s the night when more than 100 of the country’s biggest stars unite to honour the most remarkable people of the year - our nation’s unsung heroes.

"We're proud to be British!" Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell shrieked, as they braved the rain in support of the Awards.

A glowing Kelly Brook was among the glamorous stars who arrived at the glittering gala ceremony in Central London to mark the Awards' 10th anniversary.

The annual emotion-charged event is packed with breathtaking stories of heroism and courage, uplifting moments, and hilarious celebrity surprises.

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue said she was excited about her group for this year's show, and that she would be doing her best to match her 2007 success.

Umbrella advocate Rihanna would be proud of the way she's working that brolley!

If there's one thing this lad proves, it's that Britain's Got Talent. But tonight, George Sampson was mingling with the celebs to highlight our nation's brave everyday stars, young and old.

And showing off some impressive moves on that carpet to boot!

Also honoured are the sports men and women who renewed the nation's pride this summer - all our Olympic gold medallists.

Ronan Keating took time out from Boyzone's busy return to the limelight to attend the Awards with his wife Yvonne.

Winners at the ceremony also range from a woman who raised £45million for breast cancer research by getting 150,000 women walking through the night in their bras, to a man who ‘fathered’ more than three million babies worldwide by pioneering IVF. 

In the absence of other half Joe Cole, the gorgeous Carly Zucker held her own in the media glare.
