For the grand finale of series 11, Jess and Ricky threw a Prince and Princesses party. With just a few exceptions, there were fairy tale endings for everyone!
In an emotional farewell, Sam told her closest pals that it was time for her to leave the Essex scene. Sam’s been in TOWIE since day one, and she’ll be greatly missed but she wants to concentrate on her health and her relationship with Joey. Yep, that’s right, they’re back on!
Lockie pulled out all the stops to prove how sorry he is. He turned up at Dani’s house in a pink limo with flowers and a dress (to clarify, Lockie wasn’t wearing the dress). He asked her to be his princess for the party. Dani was all smiles and said yes… which is lucky because he later told her he’d booked them a holiday to Morocco so they can spend some time together. Aw!
Lewis and Grace had a chat and he made it clear he and his ex Olivia are just close friends and he’s 100% single. He told her he’s fed up of all the back and forth between them and gave her a kiss, then swept her into his arms, carried her to his white horse and rode off into the sunset. (They actually just went back into the party for another drink.)
Diags stuck up for his Facebook official girlfriend when Ferne confronted her about the awkwardness between them. Seeing someone bad mouth Fran made Diags realise that he’s in love with her! Thankfully, she said it right back, phew! Looks like Fran has found her Prince Charming.
Lydia Bright arrived at the party as a surprise and Arg was so embarrassed about being dressed as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (oh, Arg) he ran away thinking she wouldn’t notice… but she did. Awkward. After he composed himself, he plucked up the courage to go and talk to her for the first time in 18 months! Knowing their history, Arg’s occasional fling, Gemma, got all tearful when she saw them chatting, but Jess quickly reassured her that nothing will happen between them again.
Finally, in sadder tales: Chloe told Bobby she’ll never be friends with Lauren again, while Dan and Jasmin ended their relationship/friendship after Georgia told Jas that Dan said he still didn’t see her as more than a friend.
What’s in store for the TOWIE lot next series? Who knows, eh? A lot happens in Essex!
