A fond farewell
Tears and tantrums, the last of episode of series six had it all! However, it also had a goodbye that we just weren't prepared for at all...
From class clown to Mr. Smooth, Arg has matured (sort of) of late, so much so he sensibly told Lauren G to sort out her differences with the Wright family. By jove! We think it worked! There were tears, sure, but there also seemed to be mutual forgiveness.
The conversation seemed to get Lauren reflecting on her life. At Lucy's prom-themed 21st, Lauren unbelievably had a group hug with Sam and Lucy, who, let's not forget, both once bedded her ex of "ten years", Mark Wright. Something was clearly on Lauren's mind and that something was a new start, as she tearfully told Arg she was ready to leave Essex. Sad times indeed.
The Goodge is off, but the drama doesn't look like leaving Essex anytime soon. First up in the confrontation stakes were Bobby and Gemma. Gemma firmly believes Bobby said he and Charlie had a foursome in Marbs. Bobby denies saying this and, of course, Bobby and Charlie both deny the foursome ever occured.
Gemma then went all BAFTA award-winning on us, as she told Bobby, "I'm willing to forgive you in my heart". Bobby didn't take too kindly to being patronised and told Gem to hop on a broomstick back to Chigwell. Then he called her a very rude word indeed. No love lost there!
That was jut the warm-up! Jamie tried in vain to apologise to Frankie and Billie for bragging about his sexual exploits with them. Frankie wasn't having any of it and poured her drink on him, he poured one on her, Frankie threw the punch bowl at him. 1-0 Frankie!
Let's end series six on a joyful note, eh? Mario, fresh from having his willy replicated in ice form, told Little Chris he'd be his best man! Little Chris, who we'd just discovered once filmed an amateur porn film (ew!), was over the moon! Good on him and good on Mario for making the right choice. When will the big day though? Fingers crossed for series seven in the autumn!
