The series finale was a ferris wheel of emotions. There was a 50's fun fair party and there must’ve been something in the candy floss because love was definitely in the air...
Firstly, it looks like Arg has finally got the girl. Leather-clad, and no-doubt on a sugar rush, Arg pulled out all the stops to win Lydia back. His first smooth move was to give Lyd those very special Carrie Bradshaw-esque shoes he’s tried to give her twice in the past. She rejected them both times before after Arg’s silly shenanigans had left her heartbroken, but this time she welcomed them with open arms after Argy promised he’ll never make those mistakes again. Step two in his plan was to re-create the first time the pair confessed their love for each other, complete with a Westlife tribute singer, a choir and ballroom dancing. Lydia was swept off her feet and finally gave in. Hooray, you go, Arg!
Things were patched up between Chloe and Ferne, after the pair decided their rut had gone on too long. The same goes for Danni and Lauren Pope who've managed to get to speaking terms, with a lot of help from their boyfriends. Yeah, that’s right, we said boyfriends; Lewis and Lauren finally made things official at the party, complete with a Grease-style spin! Danny and Sandy who?!
Leah confronted her auntie Carol and Jess for the first time since wedding-gate, and the family decided to let most of the blame lie with Arg and move on from what happened. Chloe and Ricky made sure they kept a few metres distance while all this went on so they couldn’t be accused of getting involved. Good decision, guys. And talking of Wrights, Elliott’s off to Spain for a month to see his kids, but he’s invited Chloe to join him out there so he can spend as much time with her as possible. Awwww can we all have an Elliott please?
Well, that’s it until next series. All has ended calmly for the TOWIE lot, but who knows what will happen from here. Will Fran, Grace and Georgia manage to patch things up, and will GCfinally find the love of her life?
