No, not a pirate reference, but a reference to Arg finishing second (out of two... ok, he came last) in his favourite event from school, the long jump. The self-proclaimed “people’s champion” Arg took on best mate Joey at the long jump just after leaving a bad stench hanging in Tom Kilbey’s nostrils.
