In this deleted scene taken from the last episode of series seven, Charlie tells Mario, "I'm not making some big some big confession that I'm gay or bisexual or I'm anything like that... I'm just me."

Charlie also responded to claims that he's gay, "I've never been in a gay relationship before and I don't see myself in a gay relationship. I've had plenty of offers if I wanted to do it - I haven't. I've never tried it, but the way I live my life is 'don't rule anything out'".
