Back in October 2010 Arg was single, but then his ex-girlfriend Lydia arrived back in his life. After promising to leave his player ways behind him and with a spot of serenading, the pair eventually reunited in loved-up bliss.
Then Lyd heard rumours that Arg cheated on her. Arg denied this, but didn't exactly help himself by spending more time with BFF Mark than his girlfriend. Once again, they went their separate ways.
The course of true love never runs smoothly and with this adage in mind Arg and Lyd got back together. Obiviously Arg and Lyd's bickering didn't stop there though! Arg was adamant that Mark was telling the truth when he said he spent the night with Lucy in Marbella. Lydia didn't listen to Arg though and backed her mate Lucy. Turns out our Lyd was wrong. Whoops.
All looked rosy for Arg and Lydia and the pair were talking about living together. Just when we thought we could hear wedding bells, Arg and Lydia broke-up. Again. Lydia said they'd grown apart.
Arg tried his darn hardest to get back in Lyd's life - he gatecrashed her birthday party, he bought her shoes as featured in Sex and the City, he got a new look - but it was all to no avail. Lyd wasn't having any of it.
The nail in the coffin seemed to come when Arg discovered Lyd had slept with someone since their break-up. Arg couldn't contain his rage for the love of his life - he sent her a barrage of abusive texts.
The pair still refuse to let bygones be bygones, Lydia appears to have moved on to the handsome chappy that is Tom Kilbey. However Arg insists that Lyia still isn't over him suggesting to Joey and co. in the Marbella that she had been texting him.
